Botafoch marina is situated on the north side of the commercial harbour and offers good shelter to most weather conditions. The marina has repair facilities and provides excellent services.
Ibiza is probably best known as the ‘destination’ for the young, free and hedonistic nightclubbers and that doesn’t look like it’s about to change anytime soon. But Ibiza is also a good sailing holiday destination (and if you have the stamina for some late nighters,) the Balearic’s ‘White Island’ has to be the amongst one of the best places in the world to visit and with the close proximity of the other Balearic islands the area makes a great cruising area.
The town provides all the supermarkets, repair yards and chandlers, and ther are of course plenty of bars and restaurants. The harbour is also home to several yacht charter companies and Sunsail have a base here. f you can get out of te clubs and off the yacht there are some great beaches to discover.
The Approach
The city is easy to spot from sea though at night lights can be difficult to pick out against the back drop of the towns lights. The marina is the first one to starboard upon entering, and the entrance is at the east end of te Botafoch breakwater.
The Entrance
The entrance is wide and presents no problems, there is plenty of room for manouvering once inside the marina. Berthing is bow or stern too.
