Queensway Quay Marina, Gibraltar

Queensway Quay Marina is the southern most of the three marinas with around 100 berths, and is less than a five minute walk from the town centre. The marina can take several vessels of up to 35m and a few super yachts of up to 90m, the depth is 3.5m. The marina has the advantage over the other two of being further away from the airport with its noise and fuel smells.
The Marina is also a residential complex and has a few shops around the harbour with the town shops and restaurants just a short walk away. There are plans to extend the marina with a further 200 plus berths.
Visitors should secure to the inside of the south pontoon to be allocated a berth, the necessity to visit the reporting berth at Waterport is waived as customs can be dealt with in the marina office by fax. Berthing is Mediterranean style, bow or stern to with a lazy line leading to a mooring line. Visitors are usually berthed on the southern most pontoon which can be prone to swell
There is Electric and Water to all berths which is metered, and additional to the berthing fee.
Marina Office Telephone 44699, (prefix 956 7- if dialling from Spain)

There are plans to extend the marina by another 220 berths but no work has started yet. May 2009
