Bas du Fort marina is situated close to downtown Point-a-Pitre and offers excellent facilities for both yachts and their crews. Ideally situated for exploring other Caribbean Islands.

Formalities

Entry

The police formalities for arriving boats are madatory, even for French boats coming from another French island, these formalities are free of charges.
The passports of the crew and the passengers as well as the original boat papers are to be presented.

Customs open Mon - Fri 0800 to 1600 and Sat/Sun 0800 to 1200


Formalities for French boats coming from another French department only if they have to pay duty.
The temporary admission is limited to maximum 18 months.

Original papers to be presented:
 The boat's certificate of nationality.
 Driving-licence (for power-boats)
 The passenger's and the crew's passports
 Clearance
 Invoices for articles and additional equipment aboard

The Captain must complete the formalities before the crew/passengers are allowed to leave the ship and up to this time the ship must fly a yellow "Q" flag.
