West Park Marina, New Zealand
West Park Marina - also known locally as West Harbour Marina - is a privately operated yacht harbour at Hobsonville in Auckland's upper Waitemata Harbour, a short distance beyond the harbour bridge. The marina provides good shelter and facilities including a boat yard.
The marina has a cafe, bar and several marine retail stores.
Formalities
If you are a foreign vessel arriving in New Zealand fax or email advance notice before leaving your last port. * Call Taupo Radio on VHF Chn 16 (there are coastal relay stations) The code flag "Q" should be flown as soon as vessels enter New Zealand's Territorial waters. Arrival can be confirmed to the Port via VHF Channel 16.
At least 48 hours before arrival you must contact NZ Customs with your estimated time and place of arrival through one of these methods:
* call Taupo Maritime Radio (ZLM) on SSB 4125, 6215, 8291 or 12290 Kbz
* call Russell Radio on SSB 4445, 6516 or 13103 Kbz to report for you
